Unlike last year the weather cooperated and made for what organizers called a perfect weekend to play ball. After several games of hard-fought softball and close calls, the Mayer Fire Department ended the victor again for the third straight year. According to organizers, lots of fans showed up to support their team and watch some great softball. One highlight of this year’s tournament was the Donkey Ball game that took place Aug. 5.
